FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
FARGO - The Women’s Health Conference is the leading health event in the region for women to consider their health and wellness as a whole person: body, mind and spirit. The Conference takes place on Monday, May 19, 2014 at the Ramada Plaza Suites.
“We really are interested in addressing the broad definition of health,” conference planning Chair and retired Director of Women’s Way, Mary Ann Foss noted. “It is well known that stress and lifestyle habits affect our physical health, so it is important to look at all aspects of health together.”
In an effort to address a wide range of women’s health needs, the Women’s Health Conference has invited several community partners to participate in this event to showcase some medical and non-medical services available for women in the area. Partners include those in healthcare, financial planning, clinical spas, mental health services, and public health programs that provide choices to empower women to take charge and make steps toward a healthy self.
“We aim to inspire, educate and empower women of every age through an interactive and educational experience,” says Foss, “We want to promote behaviors to build resilience and provide information on healthy informed decisions with accurate, evidence-based information.”
The conference is the ultimate destination for women who are looking to make choices for a healthier, happier life both mentally and physically.
