Recharge and restore your energy while improving your ability to react more thoughtfully to challenges, worries and conflict.
A practice of mindfulness helps us experience joy and happiness while improving focus and concentration. Science proves that practicing mindfulness literally re-wires our brains, helping us cope with everyday distractions and stress.
Melanie Carvell inspires women to take charge of their health with tools to restore energy while improving your ability to cope with stress, conflict and worries.
Melanie is a gifted athlete who grew up in southwestern North Dakota. Her life-long interest in athletics and a career as a physical therapist lead her to become an accomplished six-time All American triathlete, the former director of the Sanford Women's Health Center in Bismarck, ND, a certified Worksite Wellness Consultant, a captivating motivational speaker, and tireless community volunteer.
In 2014, Melanie became an author with the publication of her book Running with the Antelope: Life, Fitness, and Grit on the Northern Plains. The memoir tells of her journey, from the agricultural village of Mott (population 732) to world duathlon and triathlon competitions, to her career as a physical therapist and national speaker. Running with the Antelope is part self-help book, part prairie memoir and part song of love to North Dakota.
Melanie Carvell is speaking at the Women's Health Conference on Monday, September 17, 2018 at the Delta by Marriott. Tickets are $75.
