A group of health, public health and community minded experts serve to provide a practical, uplifting experience to help women grow emotionally, spiritually and physically. Meet Adrienne.
Q. How has the health of those around you changed you?
A. When I was 17, my father passed away very suddenly of a massive heart attack. His eating habits and lifestyle was not always what one would call healthy and exercise was not part of his routine. I remember that every single day. If I want to be around for my husband, my family, my future children, I need to take care of myself and encourage healthy behaviors in those around me. Exercise and nutritious eating are key to the long and healthy life for which we all strive.
Q. Where do you work? How did you get into your line of work? A. I work at the Fargo-Moorhead Convention & Visitors Bureau. At the FM CVB we market Fargo, ND and Moorhead, MN as a destination for leisure travelers, business conventions, conferences and sports tournaments. This job was a natural fit for me after graduating from North Dakota State University in 2010 with my Hospitality and Tourism Management degree. The CVB ties together my interest in the tourism industry, my passion for the Fargo-Moorhead community and my love of people.
