REGISTRATION OPEN FOR WOMEN’S HEALTH CONFERENCE
BISMARCK-The Women’s Health Conference, formerly known as Mikey Hoeven’s Women’s Wellness Expo, will host a day-long event on September 30 at the Best Western Ramkota in Bismarck, North Dakota. Registration is open to the public. The conference features practical, uplifting experiences to help women grow their personal health and the health of their family.
“We are focused on women’s health,” said committee chair Mary Ann Foss, retired director of Women’s Way of North Dakota, “because most often women are the influential household decision makers regarding health care. The conference challenges attendees to new health goals and empowers them with tools and resources.”
There is good news amidst regional and national reports about the state of women’s health. Modifiable lifestyle choices, health screenings and self-management can save individual’s money and resources; topics addressed by regional and national experts at Women’s Health Conference.
“Women learn from each other, they boost each other’s motivation,” continues Foss, “We inhale inspiration from stories of challenge and expert advice, then exhale the motivation to make healthy lifestyle changes.”

The event planning committee, North Dakota Partnering for Women’s Health (NDPWH), comprises a group of health, public health, and community minded experts including Former First Lady Mikey L. Hoeven.
