At the 2013 Fargo event, we had the opportunity to meet women behind inspiring stories of health: mental, physical and emotional. Meet Jen.
Sporty and sophisticated describe Miss Jennifer H. A TRIPLET with two great brothers, Jen LOVES to learn and has a very optimistic outlook on life.
A former Concordia Cobber Soccer Player, she considers herself is a champion in health education, and we agree. She is continually learning ways to improve herself and is always working to become a more fit woman– both emotionally and physically.
Since she’s a former collegiate athlete, her health focus on health has shifted a bit in the last year. Knowing she isn’t working out to get in shape for ON the soccer field, she has had to change her outlook toward developing good habits OFF the field. Stating time management as the most important tool for her health, she wants everyone to know that you need to set aside time to take care of yourself. If you’re stressed, you won’t make the time to work out and eat healthy.
Before she hits the books in September for a Masters degree in Communication, she will be traveling abroad and touring Scandinavia with her mother. A family tradition started by her grandmother when Jen’s mom graduated from college.
