What does wellness mean to you? When it comes to your health do you know the numbers that can save your life? During the Women's Health Conference, Sandy Tschosik, BN, RN will use tools to assess your risk for disease and inspire you to make healthier choices to achieve wellness.
Sandy Tschosik is a registered nurse at CHI St. Alexius Health. Born and raised in Winnipeg, she earned her Bachelor of Nursing degree from the University of Manitoba. Shortly after graduating she decided that Canadian winters were too cold and moved “south” to start her nursing career in Bismarck, ND.
Sandy worked as a pediatric nurse for seven years, and then spent eight years as a Clinical Nurse/Medication Management Executive with Hospira Worldwide Inc. In 2009 she began her employment with CHI St. Alexius Health and actively promoted health and wellness through community health events, screenings and education. Sandy currently works in infection prevention, but remains passionate about educating people on the importance of living a healthy lifestyle.
In addition to her duties at CHI St. Alexius Health, Sandy is a member of the American Lung Association North Dakota Local Leadership Board, as well the American Heart Association’s Bismarck/Mandan Go Red for Women Executive Leadership Committee. However, her favorite job is being mom to her eight-year-old son Zachary.
Health and Wellness 101: Did you know many leading causes of death are PREVENTABLE? Sometimes health is a choice, and by knowing your numbers you may be motivated to choose wisely. Join Sandy Tschocik, BN, RN at #WHCBismarck on September 19.
